Early scan showed small bleed - need advice

Had a scan today because of previous miscarriages. showed a 6+3 bean but a small bleed adjacent to the sac. havent had any bleeding except perhaps a little brown spotting
Any advice? Anyone been thru same?
im being scanned again in 2 weeks but am terrifed

Had my scan.. was a long wait. Baby is 7 weeks with heartbeat bleed has got a bit bigger but said is subsiding as has moved away from the baby. Wanted to discharge me but having another scan in two weeks..
How have u got on???? Xx

I'm so happy for you that everything seems to be ok! If the bleed has moved away from the baby that's a positive sign and also the fact that they wanted to discharge you. It's good you're having another scan in 2 weeks though as it will keep reassuring you.
Sadly my scan didn't go well,my wee baby doesn't have a heartbeat anymore 💔 so now I'm just waiting to miscarry again. It took 6 weeks for me to start bleeding last time so I'm hoping it won't take so long this time as it's torture 😔
Just looking at my gorgeous little boy (2.5) is what's keeping me going and just try to be strong for him. My husband is away with work and won't be home until tomorrow night.
I think the hardest bit is I still have all the symptoms,nausea,sore boobs etc.
It's been good being able to talk to you through this couple of weeks-thank you xxx

Oh my I’m so sorry!!! Iv only just read your message!! Did they say there could be any reason? It’s awful it took a while for my miscarriage to happen.. it started and then stopped then started again 3 months in total!!

Hi,sorry I'm only coming back on here now. Thank you. I'm sorry to hear it took so long for yours,the stopping and starting must have been so hard 😔 Mine took so long to start last time but was over quickly once it did thankfully.
They didn't give any reason. Just said she was sorry. I can't help thinking about how she hurt me so much,silly I know but that's both times that nurse has scanned me the baby has died shortly after the scan. When she got another nurse in to rescan me after she did to confirm,it was completely painless. Strange. It's probably totally coincidental,guess your mind just gets carried away at these times.
I was just over 6 weeks.

I know how u feel, you can not stop thinking of reasons why it happened, did that make it happen, did this. Also scanning the internet to find answers it’s so horrible.. nobody understands the pure devastation till they have been through it! People saying it happens for a reason just doesn’t help.. !
Is your husband supportive? I’m just a nervous wreck.

Yes that's so true-I'm so bad for always googling things. I know I shouldn't as you always find the horror stories but I still do it anyway.
My husband was away with work for both of the scans I had so didn't get home until a few days after each one. That was hard as I was just coming out of the scans with my wee boy and having to make our way home across town (I don't drive) with me crying everywhere. Then getting home to the house empty. He's back now though so that's good.
I actually took a really long career break (5yrs!) after my maternity leave ended so that I could bring up my wee boy so thankfully I'm off all the time. That really helps plus I get to spend all my time with him which I love :)
I can imagine you're worried indeed,it's like we give ourselves markers and think we'll stop worrying after them-the 12 week scan,then it's the 16 week scan but then we just worry the whole way through! I probably worry more now my son is here than I ever did before in my life!
It's natural but I'm sure everything will work out fine for you 🙂 so far so good and the risks decrease the further along you get. What date is your next scan?xxx

It’s hard not to tho I’m always doing it!! Aww least his back and is supportive!! That’s nice that u get to spend so much time with ur little boy! Bet his excited for Christmas! My next scan is Monday (23rd) iv not been feeling great tho.
