When they say you have a raised temperature when pregnant.... exactly how raised?

Yes I am obsessively symptom spotting... dont normally take temperature but read that it is raised when pregnant.

So if any of you do monitor your temp, by how much should you expect it to raise.

Mine is 37.2

But your actual temperature doesn't matter much: it's the rise in temp between pre-ovulation and post-ovulation. I run cold so my pre-ov temps are around 35.8 and my post-ov temps are around 36.1.

If they stay elevated for 18 days then it should indicate pregnancy, but some women's temperatures drop before your period arrives and others it stays high and drops during/afterwards.

I took my basal body temp this month and pre ovulation it was 35.8 at the lowest! It's now 37.2 after creeping up slowing after ovulation, and I found out I was pregnant a week ago Smile
