Help - have my waters broken?!!

Need advice. I am 38+2 weeks gone. DH and I have just indulged in a little bit of 'that'!! At the end there was a lot more fluid than normal (sorry for the gory details). Since then I have had an overwhelming urge to go to the loo twice but have had no further leakage.

Have had an ache across the top of my belly all day and had 'period cramps' for about the last week. Should I call the hospital as I have had no more leakage?

Although a 2nd time mum it was very obvious last time that they had broken so now not sure what to do - please help!!

I know!! Just annoyed as was built up to believe that something would happen today and nothing did!

Am having very hot thai curry for dinner and a large glass of wine so hopefully that might help!!

I had my dd2 at the end of March. In my first pregnancy my waters broke in labour a specific pop!! Very obvious. But this time I think they had gone (very slowly) a couple of days before. I was feeling damp all the time, but not noticable trickling from the Thursday onwards. I had her on Saturday. Saturday lunchtime whilst on hands and knees I felt it squirting whilst moving and trying to get up. But at no time did I feel a noticeable pop or get a sudden gush of water, even when she was born. I was also told m cervix was closed and my waters hadn't gone at 6.30pm and I delivered her at 7.51!! So IMO I wouldn't believe they know it all. I think if there is a small hole in the membrane, the waters carry on topping themselves up. I think if they have obviously popped then there is more cause for concern. This is just my opinion HTH.
