As thread title say I'm due to have my 1st child on Oct 15th. I'm studying Spanish at an evening class and love it, am in the middle of my GCSE exams! I work full time, but obviously plan to take 6-9 months off when baby is born.
I feel like I'm really starting to get somewhere, and I hate the idea of stopping. Please tell me, if it is wise for me to carry on with my studies and start a new AS course in September, (which is for 2 hours one evening a week) warning my tutors that I won't be attending class for a good month or so once baby arrives, but that I do plan to be back once I have physically recovered from the initial shock?
Or should I just be realistic and accept that I'm not going to be able to study for a goodly while?
Please feel free to tell me if am am being a naive numpty or whether it is entirely possible that one small corner of my own life can continue?
