I'm nearly 35wks and now getting darn uncomfortable at night too! Although not as bad as you as the sound of it. Some nights better than others. My other half suggested not drinking after a certain time at night to stop the nighttime peeing - errr, thanks but nothing will stop the bladder pressure at night I suspect! This is my second time round and I am sleeping a lot better this time thankfully. Although I am getting restless legs when I am trying to get to sleep. Good luck, hope you at least get a few more comfortable nights ASAP before you go crazy!

I totally feel for you! I'm 36 weeks and my restless legs are driving me crazy! The only thing I find works is to not even try to go to sleep until I cant keep my eyes open any longer. I lay in bed reading until my eyes are practically shut before turning off the light! When I wake/get up in the night I start again!! very frustrating!

it will soon be over!

I had that when I was pg with dd. I used to get dp to massage my feet and legs every night and slept with them raised on pillows. It helped loads - Dp wasnt best pleased though

oh god, i get restless legs normally and now its alot worse - and I'm only at the 14-15 weeks stage!! I can't get off to sleep and my legs are starting to get twitchy and uncomfortable around 9.30pm, I end up walking in circles, & poor DH is kept awake all night with me kicking him...apparently! most likely that it will get alot worse when I get a proper bump etc then... I knew there was some payback for having no morning sickness...

good luck all.

I'm 32 weeks and with you on that. Every time I turn over I wake up then I can't get back to sleep again so lie awake for an hour. I just get back to sleep again then I am woken by the kids or needing a wee or because bubs is having a festival in there.

Anyone tried satin pyjamas? I wore these ( M&S Large mansize) for most of the last 2 months and made a huge difference being able to turn over/slide across the bed etc without waking all the way up. Plus you can do a mean side-on impression of Alfred Hitchcock...

It's my 2nd toppest tip for pregnancy (1st being don't bother buying any nice shoes until 2 months after)
