Hi girls,

I'm due on 31st December so just about qualify as a member of this thread. Touch wood, my little speck of a buba will be child number two. I already have a beautiful 9 month old girl but am a tiny bit anxious about the closeness in age and how I'm going to cope with two tiny ones. Does anyone else have a similar age gap between children. Did you survive?

mine will be 2 years apart(if all goes ok...) 2nd one due at the beginning of dec. but for a while i thought i was pregnant at that point, when my little girl was 9 months...not that that is the same as you, but kind of thought about it, and there are some good things-

getting done with the nappies sooner
all the clothes you must have
jealousy you may have if the gap was bigger

i am sure it will be fine, so exciting though! try and enjoy it (apart from feeling sick and not wanting to leave your bed etc)try not to worry about after

Just rang docs for results of blood test and def positive. Got to wait til im 10 weeks before midwife will contact me. I hate this waiting around, I didnt find out I was preg lastime til I was about 12weeks so I missed it all haha.

I?m a Dec 09 too although no one but me and dh know! First one - been trying for a few months......need to get confirmation from docs but test positive so very excited and fingers crossed. Worked out on one of those calculators that I?m due Dec 21st......hope to pop out by Xmas day then! Had no cravings but boobs so sore and starving all the time......quite a bit of nausea which only seems to quell when I eat! Am gonna be huge at this rate before I can even tell people! Congrats to everyone else.....and here?s to some support for the next eight months!

Hi to all you december due-daters. I'm due on 16th Dec with my second. My first is 17 now so a big gap! Reassuring to know so many of you are getting bad tum pains, I was beginning to think there was something wrong. Been waking up in the early hours every day for two weeks now with stomach pain, like period cramps. Can't remember this from last time I was pregnant.. but then again that was a long time ago

I was worried about those too, thought it meant something bad so glad to hear others getting those cramps.

nausea is horrendous now being online looking at screen i feel sick

my age gaps when #3 due will be dd1 (just) 4 dd2 2 (in sept) and then bean!

my nausea seems to have got worse, never thought it was possible! the cramps seem to be worse at night.

anyone been for a scan yet? will have to pay for my 1st one,we are only offered 20week one

Just found out, reasonably sure I'm due Dec 18 so 7 weeks tomorrow. Dying to tell everyone but want to wait at least another couple of weeks just in case. A couple of waves of nausea but no sickness yet, it started around 8 weeks with my first two girls so something to look forward to I guess. Little bit worried about having another baby so close (my girls will be 3 and 4 months & 22 months when the baby's born) but I'm so thrilled that I don't care!
