ruddynorah, I have wanted spicey food more recently. There are certain foods which appeal, not so much cravings, but food that I can cope with the thought of. I have gone right off bread which is a shame as I was a bread monster before this pg (but went off it last pg).

I don't like chewing gum!

i just really try to go with what my body wants. this time it's sweets and mints and gum. it really helps. i also remember with dd i massively craved prawn mayo sandwiches. gosh i did get glares from the you musn't have prawns or mayo old timers brigade

Fab that you're not feeling sick all the time Pavlov. It was spicy food with me the first time too - one of my friends (think it was dh's ex-girlfriend in fact!) suggested extra hot Doritos and they were one of the few things I could keep down for ages.
Having the confidence to ignore the dietary advice is important because what I could eat was precisely the opposite of what they were saying - they tell you to avoid spicy food, strong flavours, fatty food.... in fact it was vegetables and fruit that made me throw up the worst (so much as seeing an orange juice ad on tv could trigger vomiting).

ok, so chips are not good . Fancied a chip butty, ate a few chips from the best chippie in town, then felt sick, now worried that perhaps i might be sick afterall [arrggghh] now, all i can smell is chip fat and it is yuck!
