DH is looking at a website says it is usually pasturised, but much commercial paneer is unpasturised...oh I guess I shal cross that off the list.....

Any opinions to back either up?

Eat it quick before someone finds a reason for you not to have it!

I ate it-this listeriosis business is too ott. If it is cooked it should be fine.

Paneer is cooked before you even open the box - it is made by boiling up the milk first.

And even if it wasn't, it is cooked in the dish you are eating anyway.

So either way, perfectly safe.
