Yup, will be wearing wires as long as I can. Like others a big cup (currently a JJ), so have thankfully just plain ignored places like M&S as I've always found their service shocking (they try to put me in a 36 back every time, just so, it seems, I can fit into more of their styles - pre-pg fit 32). John Lewis and Bravissimo are both fairly good, though I find John Lewis lacks the range above a G.
Bravissimo fitted me into a 34JJ - on tightest hooks, with room for expansion in the cups - so hopefully I'll be good for another few weeks - really don't want to go into non-wired at all.
Like others have said, a properly fitted wired bra is more than ok. Probably a must for those of us with big jubblies and back injuries.

Have a good feel of your breasts (whilst they're tender hurts, but will let you know for sure where breast tissue is if you've never explored) and have a look at the bravissimo guide to a good fitting bra - will apply to any cup-size.
For those with bigger busts, I got the Bravissimo Alana and Bravissimo Daisychain. I'm a very round breasted woman (people assume they're fake they're so round and have no problems just asking me about my surgery Hmm). Neither of those styles is so covering I can't wear vesty tops and they don't look too bad and are, importantly keeping me strapped in for a day on my feet at work.
