I am about to place an order on line for a lot of stuff. Has anybody used Winstanley Pram World or Kiddicare online? Are they reliable - cheapest seems to be Bambino direct, but they are always getting slated on here!

Have used winstanleys back in 2005 with dd were very good and reliable.

Dont use winstanleys. Ordered a travel system from them over a month before my due date. was told it would arrive in 7-10 days. Heard nothing from them. Phoned them repeatedly to find out when it would arrive and each time was told "any day now". Went to the shop once on Mat leave (week before due date) and was told they had forgotten to order the carrycot. No apology whatsoever. Was told it would now take over 12 working days to arrive, well past due date. Cancelled the order and ordered it from somewhere else. Rubbish service. Kiddicare, however, have been great.

sister in law has two kids and loves kiddicare. i will definately be visiting them to get my pram next month as great prices.

Wormshuffler · 13/06/2011 19:01

Ahh I remember when kiddicare was a tiny little shop in outer peterborough, now look at them! the internet sure was the making of them...........anyway.....I digress, yes kiddicare are great!

Most of my orders with Kiddicare have been great - very quick delivery etc no problems however I ordered an item for us to use at my brother's flat so I got it delivered there and due to the snow etc last winter it didn't arrive in time so my brother had to go out to Mothercare and purchase one so that my children would be safe in their house. Anyway I said I would arrange for the stairgate to be returned but when I checked their return policy it was going to cost me almost the same price as the item I had purchased just to get it picked up and returned.
So yes good company but expensive for returns IMHO.

Kiddicare are great. They give you an hour's delivery slot.

Another vote for Kiddicare, I've used them a few times and they've always been great. Delivery is fast, one hour window delivery, what others have mentioned before.
I've also used Kiddisave a couple of times when I've found things even cheaper than at Kiddicare, and they were also great. I'm now thinking of buying a Maclaren double buggy and it's £60 cheaper at Kiddisave.

kiddicare are fab :) my DH and I went there couple of weeks ago and as its our first child we were standing there totally gormless looking at things, we approached someone and they were soooo helpful :D
Have made my first online order with them today for baby carrier - so will let you know how it goes!
LolaJane looks like Ill be shopping the same time as you :D I love the store!

Hi,
I have used both Kiddicare and WInstanleys and never had a problem.

RachieJosie · 15/06/2011 16:24

Used Winstanleys to place an order for a Bugaboo cover that was supposed to be in stock in 2 weeks (according to their site). After 4 wks and no arrival I contacted them, they said I would have it within the week.... finally, after another email it arrived 2 1/2 weeks beyond that. Response was quick each time I got in touch but would have been nice to have someone keep in touch with me when a two week waiting time stretched to 6 1/2 weeks rather than me chasing. I would have ordered for elsewhere had I known about the delay. Happy to finally have the product though!

puffling · 15/06/2011 16:25

Used both of them, good prices.

jawilson24 · 02/05/2017 16:03

Bought an Icandy peach from Winstanley. Front wheel axel came out within the first week of use and it's now been a month with a faulty pram. Multiple axels have failed to turn up. Not sure if the fault is with Icandy or Winstanley but neither is showing good customer service or compensation. All seems very poor for a supposedly premier product!

Eeeeek2 · 02/05/2017 21:29

Yep kiddicare are great

JeanLouiseFinch · 02/05/2017 21:39

I have used Winstanley's a lot, for buggies and car seats. I haven't ordered online as live quite close to their shop.
They are very helpful, knowledgeable and good prices.

SucklingDuckling · 02/05/2017 21:42

I live near Winstanley's Pram World and its such a great place! Ordered my 3 in 1 from there and they're holding it til July just before little one is due Smile staff are super helpful and lovely and you can pay in instalments, they set stuff up for you. They're wonderful.

Fcukthetww · 04/05/2017 17:55

Winstanley have their shop literally round the corner from me- they are really reputable and gave me a great deal on my silver cross wayfarer package. They will also hold your pram until whatever day you need it if you're of the superstitious persuasion and don't want the pram home before baby is safely delivered.

allegretto · 04/05/2017 17:56

I have ordered from Winstanley Pram World and they were great - really quick (and I live abroad) and good service.
