33 weeks with dc2 and not needing to pee. Is something wrong?

Am feeling pressure on the bladder but slept for 7 hours solid last night. I know I shouldn't complain but just checking that its not a problem.....

I would think that it depends where the baby is. I'm 25 weeks with twins and was getting up about 5 times a night last week, but in the last couple of nights only once or twice.

I was the same with dd. Only rarely needed to get up in the early morning til very near the end!! Just be happy and enjoy the undisturbed sleep whilst it lasts

I'm the same, but need to go constantly in the day, but I'm yet to get up in the night at all, which I was finding very odd. 27 weeks today and have to admitt the day time thing only started recently. I guess we are just lucky

Thanks for that! Hopefully will sleep as well tonight......!

No I only started waking once in the night towards the end with dd and this time I'm still sleeping through (37weeks) unless dd wakes me up! My friend, who had SPD and stairs up to her bathroom woke up about 5 times a night to pee and cursed me for being so lucky!!

I think some of it depends on how heavy a sleeper you are as well tbh. It makes me laugh because dp gets up at least once for a pee and I still sleep through despite being the pregnant one . I keep joking that at this rate it'll be him getting up in the night to see to the baby while I'm oblivious, so the moses basket really shoud be at his side

Glad you posted this as I was wondering the same thing. I'm 35+3 and slept through last night - rarely ever need to get up more than once.

Glad to hear its not that unusual and should just count myself lucky!

Just thought I'd add some more 'No.1' info! I did get the urge a lot towards the end with DD then after giving birth thought 'ooh this is great don't need to pee anymore'.

No-one told me that because everythings so stretched down there after birth that the urge to go goes away. So you should visit the toilet a lot even if you don't feel you need it in the days after giving birth, to prevent infections and improve muscles. Just an FYI!
