Not pregnant but this feels exactly like morning sickess so thought you ladies might have some ideas Have terrible nausea with this labyrinthitis, the dizzyness is starting to get better but just feel very very sick. Do you think travel sickness bands are worth a shot? (This is the 4th time I have had it so if they work then it would be a good investment)

Am eating very small meals regularly, and sipping water.

They do work, but really hurt your wrists IMO. I wore mine all over Christmas but got that fed up with them I binned them and have gone cold turkey. Very cheap on Ebay so worth a shot.

The bands worked wonders for me

Get them in poundland though, the ones in the chemists will cost you a fiver !

Didn't do me any good at all. Sorry.

Haylstones · 23/01/2009 13:00

Definitely worth a try, if you buy them from the pounsd shop then if they don't work you won't have lost much. They didn't help me with morning sickness but did ease travel sickness.

Heard about them recently and DH picked some up for me from Boots yesterday. I think they work but I'm also trying to eat very little very often which might also be having an affect...
suwoo is right - they do really hurt. The Boots ones (own brand)are just under £8

I loved mine make sure you get them on the right spot as it makes a difference!

Ok you convinced me, I bout ones for £8 - am desperate. Had them on for about 45 mins now and it does seem to be helping, am cautiously pleased.

I wore mine for about a month non stop, we were traveling while I was in the early stages and had to get on lots of long distance trains, planes and boats! Did wonders for my nausea and let me carry on as normal (ish)

suwoo · 23/01/2009 15:58

When I wore them at Christmas, that included a 10 hour ferry crossing so I can't slate them. They just drove me mad and really hurt my wrists though

auntyspan · 23/01/2009 16:03

Yep mine helped instantly - but make sure you get the right position!

Didnt help me at all and i paid £7.99 for them
