where is the pain? when does it happen? How pg are you?

Have you tried calling a breastfeeding counsellor? Or reading 'Adventures In Tandem Nursing'? you might find something to help you at www.kellymom.com

Sorry to answer your post with a load of questions!

I am struggling to understand all of your post, so correct me if I am answering a question not asked

Mother's experience of nursing whilst pregnant varies a lot. I had virtually no discomfort, whilst I have talked to other mothers who have had a lot of pain all the way through etc.

Breastfeeding is safe during pregnancy, unless your doctor advises that you stop for an medical reason (and even in this case it would be worth checking with a medically trained breastfeeding expert, usually your midwife)

Many mothers nurse throughout pregnancy and end up tandem nursing with their new baby. Mumsnet has a support thread here

Hope that helps and congratulations on your new pregnancy

Are you still in early pregnancy? I think your nipples become more sensitive again when you get pregnant but it should ease off again.
