They saaw one with me following an early scan (paranoid and work in a hospital), disappeared by 12 weeks scan, never a problem, all fine.

Heartbeat is fabulous news, try and chill

Hi abbe - I was diagnosed with one at nearly 8 weeks after a week of very heavy brown bleeding with clots and a lot of cramping. One morning was particularly bad - on getting out of bed I felt a sudden gush and had it soak through my pants, pajama bottoms and run down my legs (sorry if TMI...)and didn't think that anything other than a miscarriage was occuring. I was told that I would probably have some more bleeding in the weeks to come and that it would more than likely disappear on it's own which it had also by the 12 week scan, and I am 30 weeks today!

i had one bleed at seven weeks of bright red blood but had two scans since that said good heartbeat and good size baby, had some brown spotting at 9 weeks, but nothing since, its interesting to see how in pregnancy nothing is textbook n its different with everyone! the only reason im worried is the pain, its crapy period like pain, im glad it looks like i could have a successful pregnancy this timeround tho , xx

If it's any consolation, the chances of it going wrong once their is a viable heartbeat and baby at 10 weeks is pretty miniscule - about 0.6% according to the Miscarriage Association. Good luck!

I had terrible pain, but also do have endometriosis so that is a contributing factor I suppose. With my first pregnancy there were days when I couldn't walk in the first weeks and kept hobbling to the loo to check for AF as I just couldn't believe that it wasn't going to come (I also bled with the first but it was very light and inconsistent) - women are often alarmed at the amount of AF-like cramping going on in the early stages but I dont think I know of anybody who hasn't had it X

yeah i tthink the pain comes and goes it hasnt been that bad lately but today was a bad day n no matter how many scans you have it only ressures u till the next panic or painor twinge comes along, it doesnt help that ive miscarried twice b4, ive just got a good feeling this time!
