Did/does anyone else have this?, Did it carry on after you had your baby?

My chest has been very tight for a couple of weeks, it is worse in the mornings and evenings, but I do get it throughout the day also.

I thought maybe I had a chest infection or something, but wasn't too worried as I have no major cough and not bringing anything up.

GP has given me an inhaler to use to help open my airways when my chest feels tight. Does anyone know if it is safe during PG? I suppose it must though be as GP know I am PG.

Thank you, I have only ever felt like this in this PG, never had it before. I got a bit out of breath towards the end of my PG with DD, but I was huuuuuge so that was expected lol.

The inhaler she has given me is one I use as and when I need it it is called a Ventolin Evohaler 100 micrograms. I doubt that I will use it very often TBH, because it is really only in the mornings that I struggle to breathe and if I do a lot of walking my chest feels tight.

Do you find that your asthma is worse during PG?

The GP checked out DD while I was there as she has had a chronic cough now for about 4 months and it is worse in the mornings and evenings. DD is also very phlemy wit it. GP said her chest is clear but it may be the onset of asthma. She wants me to keep an eye on DD and see how she is in the warmer weather and we will look at it then.

No one in either side of our families has asthma.

I have been using my inhaler but it doesn't seem to help TBH. I seem to need to use it a lot. My GP did say to use it as and when I need to so I don't think I am overdoing it but I just cant seem to get rid of this tightness in my chest.

It is so hard to breath right now.
