Really bad headachs in early pregnancy...?

I am 6+3 weeks and have been lucky in not having suffered from MS.
However, for the last two days i have been getting really bad headachs mid morning/afternoon that make me feel quite sick, although I haven't actually been sick. Has anyone else suffered from these headaches and are they part of "morning sickness". I have a Dr's appt 2morrow but Im not sure its related to the pregnancy so am a little un-sure if I should bring it up!! X

I asked my mum about MS as I am a million times better with this 2nd than with my 1st. She said she had headaches every day with my (younger) sister. More than likely pregnancy-related, so don't suffer in silence.

I had terrible migraines when pregnant with DS1 - from about 11 weeks until 18 weeks. I've never had a migraine before or since.

When pregnant with DS2 I had severe headaches, but not migraines, and they started earlier in the pregnancy and lasted for longer - till about 22 weeks, if I remember rightly.

I really sympathise with you!

Best advice is to tTake paracetamol at the first twinge of any pain, as your system shuts down with a migraine and therefore it won't be absorbed. In fact, soluble paracetamol is even better as there are enzymes in your saliva which will start to 'digest' the drug asap.

Definitely bring it up with your doctor, because headaches are also a symptom of high blood pressure.

Thank you for your kind advice, i shall bring it up with my Dr tommorow, though he'll probably tell me to take some paracetamol as you ladies have advised! x

I had those too both times - is hormone related though I found drinking lots (to ensure I didnt get dehydrated) made them pass quicker. Also found that lavendar compresses helped abit. They did pass by 10 weeks - so there will be an end soon.
