Well, bananas and Tesco's pecan plaits are off my list of things I can eat.....

I love Tesco's pecan puff pastry plaits. I don't have them very often, just as a treat. I had a lovely one with a cup of tea the other day and got instant horrendous trapped wind, bloating and lots of pain. I had planned to go to the gym and instead had to go for an hour long yomp, burping my way around, then felt only vaguley normal after a glass of warm water.

Then yesterday I had a banana as i was starving (always am at the moment) and I had that awful gag reflex when trying to swallow the last bit. I thought it was a one off and had a second banana at lunch, to get halfway through (it was a big one) only to feel dead queasy and I thought to myself, if I have any more I'm going to vom -everywhere.

Now I'm thinking really carefully about food and hoping not to have an adverse reaction to it! Has anyone else had this or is having it?!

How far along are you? Since the nausea started at 6 weeks my eating habits have completely changed from when I wasn't pregnant. I understand this is normal but I wasn't prepared for just how big an affect it would have on my appetite/food choices etc. I am now 25 weeks still nauseous and having to choose carefully, though not as carefully as during first and early second trimesters. Looking forward to after the birth so I can resume 'normal' eating again. Good luck.

Yep, I'd say very normal. My sickness/nausea started bang on six weeks.
