Constant retching but not being sick...

Am 13+5 weeks pg. felt a bit nauseous at beginning of pg but for the last 3 weeks I cannot stop retching.

I'm not actually SICK, nor do I feel particularly sick but I just suddenly get overcome with retching.

it is just dry retching and the only thing that stops me is to eat or drink something immediately.

It is horrible as I can't stop it - my eyes water and I have no control over it. it just suddenly springs up on me.

Anyone suffer the same? Any advice?

I had this... its HORRID isnt it and its bloody HURTS

Biscuits for breakfast seemed to help, i found it was unbarable on an empty tummy.

I just had this the past few mornings. I had about a week of nausea, which has subsided teh past few days, but I've been gagging in the mornings - especially while brushing my teeth, which I can understand, but now also for seemingly no reason at all. Worszsel's right, it hurts - my throat, my stomach, etc. Hoping you feel better soon!

I have given up brushing my teeth! Just use mouthwash at the moment.

I had this around 10-11 weeks, then it developed into full blown throwing up at 12/13 weeks which has carried on until now (24 weeks.

For me I think the retching/dry hevaing was the prelude to the vomming. Ain't pregnancy a joy?

Gaviscon or similar will probably help with this.
