I am in my 4th pregnancy and i am in week 11 almost 12. on friday december 28th i started to bleed. I had no cramping or anything like that. i called my doctor and of course he wasn't in so i talked to his nurse and she said to have pelvic rest and drink lots of fluids. my doctor still wouldn't see me till my initial check up which is on dec. 18th when i am almost 14 weeks. so the other night i started to bleed a little more then normal but it wasn't anything gushing and i did see some bigger clots then i was seen before. i haven't seen any of that greyish matter or anything like that and i only see the blood when i got to the bathroom. I was also alot more active that day then i have been. i finally got fed up and called a different clinic and fget in on 12-5 and have a scan. anybody go thorugh with this before or any guesses what it could be. terrified of a mc but not really thinking it is.

i havent personally had any experience of this.
bleeding can occur in pregnancy especially early and mean nothing.
keep an eye on colour of blood and quantity.
r u having a scan?!
if not u should beable to get in to have one
try not to worry

Is it fresh red blood or older brown blood? There may be an early pregnacy assessment unit at your local hospital too - most of these seem to be self referral. Also, the midwife who you will be uner may be of more help than the GP.

I was in this situation a year ago almost with on and off bleeding (old) until about 15 weeks. Now have a beautiful 3 month old DD. However, did spend a lot of time in EPAU with people feeding me cups of tea. But nice to know that it can all work out fine.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

There are many stories of people with successful pregnancies following bleeding (of all kinds). I really do think that seeing if there is an early pregnancy assessment uit at your local hospital would be a good place to start as it will be where your GP will send you anyway and you don't have to wait weeks.

Is there one near you? Fingers still crossed for you.
