I'm 13+3...finding it really difficult at the moment as I'm up so much during the night and then can't get back to sleep for ages. Not so bad on days off as I can nap in the days but I work shifts so it's hard to do that when I'm working. I just feel totally knackered.

I get really thirsty in the evenings too so I have to drink water.

I'm still doing it at 29wks. Think it's just one of those things.
Sorry

Um. With me it started later than you, but then didn't stop until about 2 days after dd (and subsequently ds) was born. Definitely worse (for me) in later pregnancy, but then I didn't have to go at night until the baby was big enough to bash my bladder.

sorry, right until the birth I found last time. Though is just once a night usually for me.

WRT getting back sleep, I did a hypnobirthing course when pregnant with ds because developed terrible problems getting off to sleep and wanted a more natural delivery.

It made a massive massive difference to the quality of my sleep almost immediately. But then the prob with me was mental rather than physiological IYSWIM, but it might help you to learn techniques to help you back to sleep once you've gone to the loo.

If it went to just once a night, that wouldn't be so bad. Seems to be every hour or two at the moment.

It's just replaced by being woken by baby anyway so try to get used to it!
Seriously, in a few weeks you'll start to feel much better.
For now, give in to your body as much as you can!

Through the pregnancy for me I think and expecting it to be this time (now 31 weeks with baby 2 and ds1 at 18 months still wakes up at night, dp is great with him but it doesn't make it easier to go back to sleep.

If you're early on in pregnancy, try restricting fluids for a couple of hours before bedtime - that helps me. Though in late pregnancy, sadly NOTHING stops the hourly loo visits...

I starting sleeping normally again once I got to about 16 weeks.

Built back up again from around 26 weeks, starting at once per night and then peaking at about 1.5 hourly. Must say though I am now 37 weeks and back down to 2 trips per night and sleeping for about 4 hours inbetween so feeling quite good.

Guess it's just different for everyone.
