LMP question

Hello all:

I ovulated very late in my cycle this month - on CD24. I'm likely to see the GP in a few weeks and if it's anything like last time, she'll send my info up to the hospital and then they contact me with a booking in and scan date. Last time, the nurse at the GP insisted with me that she needed to measure based on my LMP, even though I told her I ovulated late - it wasn't quite as late as this time around, so I just let it go. This time around, should I just tell her my LMP was 10 days later than it actually was? Will the 10 days make much of a difference when it comes time for the scan? (I know the 12 week one needs to be fairly precise).

Thoughts are appreciated!

Thank you!

They moved mine for the same reason, by 2 days, even though I could tell them exactly when I ovulated and conceived! It is not an exact science!!

Just give your lmp, as thepregnanthedgewitch says the sonographer will adjust your dates anyway.

My lmp was the 22june which should have made me 12 weeks when i went for my scan but the baby only measured 8+3 weeks! and has been growing according to the scan ever since.

im now 18 weeks, i was very confused also but they really can date your pg accuratley (sp!) using the scan especially the earlier you are scanned. I know when i ovd but it makes no difference and implantation could be long as well! all very confusing

Yes its def not an exact science mine was 3 weeks out!
