I have had a dreadfull weekend with dd(4) and ds(2) and I am now seriously questioning the wisdom of no3. I can't have a termination as I would never get over it, but I don't know how I am going to cope. DH keeps making "this was a really bad idea" comments and I now feel really
Just looking for moral support and wondering if anyone else feels this way?

Maybe its just my hormones?

How far into the pg are you now? May well just be hormones, or you might just be exhausted after a tough weekend.

Everyone I know has had days when they think that an extra baby will make life impossible, but you will cope. Your dd will be in school before you know it, which might make the days easier too.

Is DH really against it, or is he just fed up after a long hard weekend as well?

It prob is just your hormones, i'm pg with #3 and had been ttc this one for a year and i have had a few wobbly days thinking omg i cant do this again. although my dds are 7 and 9 i think its normal to go through these worries, i remember them with dd2. I bet you will have more ups than downs! your dc are quite young but they go through so many phases and this part will pass soon xx good luck.

I'm about 5 weeks I think. My DD is in school and DS will start nursery just after Baby is born. But at the weekends will I always feel I have pushed my limits? I guess I will cope because you don't really have a choice. Just feeling a bit scared really.

I never felt like this with Ds because I always knew I wanted more than 1 and close together but this time...

Hormones a likely part of it, plus you must have only just found out and there's the 'getting used to it' phase.
Do you have family to help and other friends with kids to share playdates?
Also a dd of 4 will probably love playing 'help Mummy with the baby'

DD does love babies so I hope so. I don't have any family nearby so that doesn't help but I do have lots of lovely mummy friends

There you go then - sure you will be fine. Just let it sink in for a few days, and you have 8 more months to prepare!

good thing eh? thanks mother nature. I think maybe you do go through all the what ifs' at this stage
my current list goes something like
what if its twins
what if sharing a bedroom dosn't work
what if I get SPD again
what if bubs dosn't sleep like DS didn't
etc etc ...
