Bought these for last pregnancy, and helped not a jot. Am at the give-anything-a-try stage with this pregnancy, but of course have lost instructions. Seem to recall having to position the bead bit in between sinews, but not clear on how far down the wrist? Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi Diege

I hope I can help..

The bead bit needs to be 3 finger widths down from the fold of your wrist to hand, so e.g on my right arm if I put my ring finger under the wrist fold bit, I then placed the bead bit under the centre of my index finger. Ensuring they were as central as possible with the two bits of sinew as you mentioned.

Can take a photo of my wrist if that would help. Let me know - am having a very boring sunday of doing little.

I did this for travelling last month and it worked, so long as I put them on way before getting in the car/plane.

Good luck

i think it was about 2-3 finger widths from the wrist crease.

Thank you both! GYO, offer of wriost picture is tempting..only if you've got enough time though .
They didn't work with last pregnancy (just gave me a nasty sweat rash)but have an open mind this time out of desperation. Who knows, may even try the dreaded instant vomit Morningwell CD again..

am sat here laughing realised its impossible to take a pic of my wrist with fingers on when holding a camera

Will get DH to take one later when he is back - sorry about delay.

Suppose travelsickness is considerably less hard core than morning sickness - thou someone, think it was latour said that she thought the bands didnt work til she took them off and felt worse.

I know what you mean about rash. Mine get really itchy esp on overnight flight when wrists swell but was prepared to anything to avoid the paperbag in the seatpocket!

Tut tut GYO, could you not cut your hand off for me? . I have the bands on now actually and for first time had to force myself to stop actually vomiting. Am sure it is just coincidence . Still, scared to take them off now!
Have wondered about this at various points in my pregnancies. Is it better to give in and actually puke, or try and hold back? Does your body tip into 'give up' point once vomiting starts - is there any advantage in stopping myself?
