Hi, Iam nearly 26 weeks pregnant and think my baby is breech. I am constantly getting kicked (I think its kicks because its so strong) in the bottom / bladder area.

I know I have a little way to go yet but am slightly worried this baby is breech.

Appreciate your comments / help.

Honestly no need to worry yet.

loads of babies are breech at your stage. Lots won't even turn until mid third trimester. don't worry at all about it... just keep as active as you can...walking, swimming, yoga...whatever takes your fancy. The time to worry is about 36 weeks if he/she hasn't turned....that's ages!!!

No, definitely no need to worry for ages and ages yet. And I don't think that kicks in the bladder/bottom area mean anything either - my baby has been head down for weeks and weeks now (am now 31w) and most of my kicks have been on the pelvic floor and bladder

My baby is breech, am 28 weeks. The last one was breech too and turned at 39 and a half weeks. Not to worry yet! Loads of time

Thanks all for the reassurance. I do feel a bit better now. Its just that I am so frightened of having a c section.

I think one of the problems is we all use the word 'kicks' for any movements at all. It's worth reflecting on the fact that there isn't really a David Beckham in there; they are movements/fluid displacement etc, so just cos its low down it doesn't mean its the feet doing it...I am getting feelings/flicks everywhere and am intrigued as to whether I am having an octopus!!

On the c section front, tho, read a wee bit about it to reassure yourself. Its not necessarily the ideal, but for many people it can still be a good experience, and at the end of the day its a means towards an end which is your lovely lo safely in your arms. Maybe if you could find some positive stories on here it might make you less scared?

Good luck tho and don't worry!
