Maternity tights - so expensive!!! Any suggestions?

Like an idiot, I have torn my only pair of maternity tights (from my last pregnancy) in the zip of my knee-high boots. They were black with a criss-cross pattern on them. I've tried to get some more, but maternity tights seem to be so expensive! Mothercare just had naff black sheer things, and they were £8. The posh tights are £20 or £25, which will be more than I've spent on my whole wardrobe update this time around! Is there anywhere that does reasonably priced tights that are actually attractive?

I think the ones in JoJo Maman Bebe are £8 for 2 pairs and I found they were a bit more robust than the mothercare ones.

Ebay have some people selling maternity spanx brand new of course I got a lovley pair for £8.50 delivered

Thank goodness! I am way too cheap frugal to spend £20 on a pair of tights. Plus I'm sure to rip them too...

I got some pretty inexpensive ones from Top Shop, also wore hold-ups which took a bit of getting used to but much easier to struggle in and out of than tights. Normal ones worn backwards work for a while too.

One of the websites does hipster tights - these would go under your bump. Might be Tightsplease.com - not sure.

Hold ups were better.

I 2nd that - Hold ups are fab. Marks and Spencers seem to be the best I have found and stay up really well x

hold ups!! I like the ones that have the sticky stuff on the top that make them just stay up.
