Is thyroid function routinely tested during pregnancy in the UK?

I had DS in London but have now moved to Australia and am expecting again. My doctor here tested my thryoid function and found me to have hypothryoidism. Does anyone know if it was likely that my thyroid function was tested when I was pg in the UK?

Mine was tested this time because I developed gestational diabetes, but I don't think it would have been otherwise.

Mine was tested as I had hyperemisis.

Not routinely tested I don't think. but one of the first things to be tested if even slight complications.
