Epilepsy drugs (levetiracetam) Keppra in pregnancy

I was taking 1750mg pday of Keppra for myoclonic epilspsy, my only trigger is alcohol. I decided to stop taking the tablets as soon as I found out I was PG. It took about 4-6 wks to stop the tablets as dose had to be reduced gradually. So was basically taking them for first 12 wks.
Internet and GP arent much help. Hospital took me off high dependency as I stopped taking the tablets, so ive only had the usualy 12 and 20 wk scans. There's not much research into this.
Has anyone had any experience with these drugs and pregnancy. Im 30 weeks now and starting to fret about it more.

When you say the GP wasn't much help what exactly was their advice? Did the doctors advise you to come off the tablets or was it a decision you made?

It was my decision, as only trigger is alcohol, and obv arent drinking at mo. GP said it was upto me, and just to let him know if and when I decide to go back on it again. I asked if taking the tablets for the first few weeks could harm the baby, and he said they couldnt really say as no research into it as no pg women want to voluntarily take drugs for research!! Was initially advised by him and m/w that was high dependancy because of this. Went for 20 wk scan and consultant gyno said she thought I was fine, and put me to low dependancy. Just cant have water birth or pethadine!! But it doesnt really put my mind at rest and as im getting closer to the birth its playing on my mind and stressing me out.

Well if the GP and the consultant Gyno can't put your mind at rest I am not sure how the internet can.

If you want my opinion I think it's normal to worry and fret about everything during pregnancy (I am currently 38 weeks), it sounds like you know your trigger point and you are not indulging and both your GP and consultant gyno are happy that you are not taking the drugs, in your case it doesn't sound as if the risk of not taking then outweighs the risk of taking them. However if you are really worried why don't you make another appointment with your consultant gyno and explain how you feel?

Do I need to be referred to do this? I changed hospitals as maternity unit nearby has terrible reputation, and have no idea of the name of the consultant that I saw. Im seeing m/w on Monday, do you think she'l be able to point me in right direction?
