Should be. If you go to the main menu on mumsnet, towards the bottom is a whole travel section and you will get loads of advice there but mainly you should ensure that the airline will take you, your insurance will cover you, you wear flight socks and that you drink gallons of water.

Have a great time!

I flew to the Maldives (12 hours) last year at 24.5 weeks and returned at 27 weeks with no problems.

Just drank lots of liquid got up for a potter around every hour or so and wore my DVT socks.

Airline were fab as well and gave me 4 seats to myself so I could stretch out.

Most airlines won't bat an eyelid if you are back home before you are 27 weeks. Check on their website. After that, they might need a doc's certificate - and if you look quite big but are within 27 weeks make sure you have your notes to hand so you can prove at check-in that you are OK to fly without doc's certificate in case they do get jittery. This happened to me on way back from hols to Oman before DD1 was born - I was 26 weeks, no comment on the way out but in Muscat they started saying I might not be able to fly. Duh. Like I'm going to be less pregnant tomorrow...They treated me like a total inconvenience and a risk rather than a fertility goddess, which threw me slightly!
Anyway, also check your travel insurance - remarkably, many travel insurers have completely different terms to the airlines, so you need to check you are covered under your current policy. If not, go to the Post Office - they are fab. And of course, stay hydrated and wear flight socks. And have a fantastic pre-baby break!

I just got back from Barbados which was 9 hour flight at 20 weeks (way there) and 22 (way back).

Check your insurance covers you for travel and also check that the airline will take you. Usually if its later on (more than 28/30 weeks) they want a doctors note so I would probably get one of these just to be safe so you can prove how far long you are and that you have the ok to travel.

I bought some flight socks too - bloody ugly things and I have no idea if they helped but I felt better about doing something.

Most airlines will not let you travel over 28wks without a medical cert to say you are okay to do so. Also, check with your insurers - I went away at 22wks and was just within the limit (was Natwest) as they had a lower limit than the airlines. You will also have to declare the pregnancy as a medical condition!

Wear the flight socks, drink plenty, and get up and move around as much as possible.

Have fun!!

AXA allow travel up to 30 weeks, just in case you need to look for insurance.
