Isabel or Isabella just curious

Just curious for a little bit of fun! Me and partner like the names Isabel &, Isabella for a girl. What's everyones thought? Like I said just a bit of fun, it won't influence our decision I'm just curious! 😊 Also we don't know the sex but we are struggling for boy names

Really? In what way?
In my school we had the same thing with Sarah. At one point there were six Sarahs and a Sara in my year.

My second child was going to be an Isabel if they were a girl, they weren't so we ended up not using it. I think boys names are easier than girl names, there are plenty of strong traditional boys names that don't age to pick from. I find girls names are harder for some reason, I just don't like many girls names.

William for a boy?

William is one of those names I now love based on people, never known a bad William!

I prefer Isobel.

There are several Isabella relations on my mum's side of the family so familiarity and a love for Italy would lead me to choose that version. One of the Isabellas married a man whose surname was Bell so there is a risk.

I prefer Isabella. It’s a nice name but I know a lot - think it peaked mid 2010s.

I don’t like Isobel or Isabel particularly. Isabelle is better but constantly having to spell your name gets wearing.

My DD18 is Isabella. She was Bella up till around 6/7 then it changed to Izzy. I still love her name, it’s beautiful and was never that popular in her primary/secondary school.
