I have discovered I'm pregnant and I will be aboit 7 weeks. Im absolutely distraught. For the following reasons:
Ive been drinking and smoking heavily throughout
My partner is autistic and has autism throughout his family, some severe
Im over 40

I need to terminate don't I :(
Ive never had a child. I'm broke. I'm distraught right now

If that's true, it would surely be very unfair on the child to go ahead with this pregnancy.

Whatever your personal beliefs on termination, you should be ashamed of yourself for being so callous to someone in such a vulnerable position.

No money, no stable employment, poor mental health and little support is not a good combination for bringing up a baby.

Some women don't regret their abortions. Some mothers regret their children.

Given the choice between risking regretting an abortion and risking regretting a child, I'd take the abortion because that way only one person gets hurt.

I just wanted to thank you for all your replies. I've come back to read them many times. I'm still waiting for my first assessment appointment which will be tomorrow. Its hard psychologically. It makes it worse that I feel absolutely fine physically
