Low HCG and Progesterone Levels

Hello!
I’m looking for any advice based on my recent hcg and progesterone results today. I ovulated around 22nd June therefore I should be around 5 weeks pregnant . But my hcg levels are only 52 and progesterone 14.1 . They told me this is lower than they would like to see them but we will test again on Monday. They said it could end up being a chemical pregnancy .

Has anyone had a similar result at all?

I have been testing daily and the lines are faint , however progressing which is even more confusing ! My last 2 are from this morning and evening and there is only a slight increase I think.

Any feedback greatly welcomed :

Could you have ovulated much later then you thought?

My tests say I peaked on 21st so I’m guessing ovulation may have been 22nd? Which would have made me day 17 since my period . I can’t imagine I could ovulate much later?

I'm afraid I have the exact same issue. My test also shows a faint line, and my peak date was almost the same as yours. I have no idea who to call first, my GP I guess. This is my first pregnancy in the UK, I'm lost.

I don't think these tests get that dark, I did both a first response and easy@home and my first response was much darker. The thing is pregnancy tests are a yes or no thing, these are saying yes. You're pregnant unless you start heavy cramping/bleeding. You can't rely on darkness or line progression, because dye amounts vary even between the same batch of test, and HCG amount varies so wildly from person to person in successful pregnancies (from like 5 at 5 weeks to over 1000). I know it's hard, but step away from the tests, you're pregnant! Then take guidance from professionals if the HCG doesn't double.

For the second poster the first thing to do is probably find what hospital you want to go to and self refer to get your appointments. If you have any major pain or bleeding, then either call your early pregnancy unit or go to a&e depending on the local guidance. They won't do anything about fainter pregnancy tests though because you're pregnant as far as they're concerned, and wouldn't be able to see anything anyway.

I had a chemical btw and my lines never got that dark in case it's reassuring.
