ive had recduced movements 3 times and on twice weekly ctg monitoring they all look good but still not feeling the same amount of movement, I had one this morning which I did have some movement on but baby’s been so quiet rest of day and I generally don’t feel that good today I did mention it this morning , I do have a planned section booked for 37 weeks due to this but if I go to triage and asked if they could move it forward I’m 36 weeks? Or even do it this weekend, scan looks good as had one this week too but the lack of movement is so worrying and having to wait another week while she’s being so quiet is stressing me out.

Yes, call triage or midwife straight away, whoever you can talk to sooner.

Half a day with no movement and not feeling right = enough reason to call

If she's still reduced from normal go back tonight. The monitoring only gives an insight into that exact moment, not what's happened since. I had seven episodes of reduced movements and was induced in the end. Turned out I had a small placenta which wasn't picked up at all before.

Contact your midwife or labour ward. If alls well you’ll get peace of mind but if it’s not you’ll be so grateful you went to checked out. X

Call them and go back. Just tell them straight you've not felt movement. If you're already having regular check ins theybshould want you in right away.

If you don't feel right, trust your instincts and advocate for yourself and baby or take someone who can do that for you if you don't feel able.

I'm sure everything is alright but its always best to check.

Also, as someone who had to go in hospital during pregnancy repeatedly, please never feel like a burden or like you are taking up time unnecessarily. Feeling this way stopped me getting care at a point when I should have. This is what these services are there for and you and your lovely baby deserve the best care x

Going to call triage just don’t want fobbed off and sent home it’s been going on since 32 weeks now and feel would be safer her being born than inside as I know on scans etc they can’t pick up everything

I had to be forceful to be kept in and monitored when my daughter stopped moving. Within 24 hours my daughter was born. Scans all looked great, ctgs initially looked fine with then some decels and gradually more decels which were only caught as I’d asked for more monitoring before I was sent home.

Baby was extremely premature but like you, I was more content that she was safer out than in. Turns out I was correct. She was born with an infection which causes still birth.

Pushback for longer monitoring ❤️

I got sent home and even on the bedside scan she scanned my stomach for a while trying to get more movement and said she was happy she seen some movement, I tried to advocate for me and baby to be told 36 weeks is to early to deliver when my section is booked for a weeks time, to wake up today in so much pain down my right side it’s hard to move, feels like a stitch but doesn’t go away even when I rest, like a know something isn’t right and keep being told looks fine to them

@Mum2b1228have you gone back in? Is the reduced movement every day? Does baby respond when you drink water/eat/press on stomach? (Responsive movement). Like everyone else, I’d be going back. If in doubt, check it out.
