Reliable advanced NIPT providers London? Possibly Southwest?

Hi mums. Any recommendations for advanced NIPT tests in London, preferably southwest if possible but happy to go central if needed. I saw Peekababy offers Veragene which is the extended panel but it seems quite cheap compared to the Harley St equivalents? Is it true Harmony is now not available? I just want a test that’s good a reputation for accuracy and reliable labs but don’t recognise the names of any of the clinics I’m finding. I am older so I’m leaning towards doing the advanced test rather than the basic one (though I know the advanced NIPT can be subject to some false positives but unsure how likely that is). Any feedback or recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Is this the 1st time you've had it done? I don't have a recommendation but these are the things I'd be looking for in a provider:

-Where is it tested? In the early days, samples were sent to the US which adds additional time and more risk of them going missing etc. More and more they are done in the UK now though.
-Will they re-test for free if they don't collect enough circulating DNA in the 1st one? Re test can be needed if it was done very early on, around 10 weeks. Also if you have a bigger BMI, sometimes they can't get enough of a DNA sample.
-How will you be informed of the results and what happens if the result isn't good news?

My first pregnancy, after 4yrs TTC, wasn't until I was 38 and I'd paid for the NIPT at 11 weeks. This wasn't in the UK, but I've since had further pregnancy losses in the UK too and the health system there is very similar. NIPT showed patau and they'd booked me the next day for a more detailed scan which showed obvious problems. I was given the choice of CVS/amnio and was referred to the local hospital where I had TFMR.

I mention that I had a good referral because after years on MN, I've read about other women (in the UK) who were sent the results via text, then had to find an abortion clinic themselves! I personally find this absolutely dreadful. Sorry I haven't actually answered your question, but a hopeful bump to someone that can.

Hey @Abbie2222I had a NIPT last Thursday at the Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley Street and would really recommend. All the proceeds go into baby/pregancy research and it’s run by a leading NHS obstetrician, you also have your scan with a doctor which is helpful
