Anterior placenta - no movement at 20 weeks

I’m 20 weeks pregnant with an anterior placenta and have felt no movement yet at all. I had an anterior placenta in my last pregnancy too but I’m sure I felt movement far earlier than 20 weeks!

It’s getting me down a bit and I feel like I haven’t really connected with this baby as I can’t feel her move and the pregnancy doesn’t really feel real.

I’m getting scans every couple of weeks due to complications in my last pregnancies so I know everything is ok with baby, I just wish I could feel some movement!

When did everyone else feel movement with an anterior placenta? This is my 3rd baby so I know exactly what it feels like but I’ve literally felt nothing so far!

I had an anterior placenta for DC1 and felt no movement whatsoever until I was about 7 months (and even then, really very rarely). It was disconcerting but DS was fine.

It was about 24 weeks for me with my first, I had an anterior placenta too. I know how you feel, it makes the whole pregnancy feel a little odd, like it's not real. He made up for it when he did start kicking. Felt like a constant game of football! I hope you start feeling some movements soon it shouldn't be too much longer now 😊

Anterior with first and I was 20+5. You might not be far off!

Same, took me ages. Are you getting bigger? Is baby? By the time you feel something it will be a giant foot kicking at your heart and the heartburn will make you miss this time! 😘

I had an anterior placenta with DC 1 and 2. With both I felt movement around 16 weeks but didn't feel it regularly (as in everyday) until about 24 weeks.
