Cervix very low

TW previous loss.
Hi, I am currently 12w1d, I am prescribed progesterone pessaries at night and morning and when inserting it last night I noticed my cervix is extremely low, practically right there. I'm also feeling a heaviness.
I will be seeking medical advice but just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I'm anxious as I have had a previous spontaneous mc at 14w previously, after that I did have a successful pregnancy with my son.
Any advice appreciated, thank you.

*update
I called maternity, the midwife I spoke to was quite dismissive, told me there is no way I can tell if it is my cervix and it probably isn't, advised me to stop worrying. Not feeling very reassured.

I really don't think you need to worry op. Over the next few weeks your uterus will become big enough it will need to move upwards out of your pelvis and then you cervix will probably disappear for a while. It's an anxious time being pregnant after a loss and it's normal to overthink everything and worry that everything is a sign. Honestly, I had 2 losses and 2 successful pregnancies and there were no obvious signs either way.
