Im wondering what birth plan people are hoping for this pregnancy. A vaginal delivery or are you opting for a planned C section ?
Has anyone had experience of both?
Im expecting my second child , the first being a difficult induced vaginal delivery

I've had both. First baby was an emergency C-section, and second baby was a vaginal delivery in just 6 hours, with no time for pain relief.

C section took me much longer to get over - that's a major wound across your mid section! I've also been left with an overhang over the scar.

On reflection, I think both have advantages and disadvantages! I also think that making a plan is hard - because things rarely go to plan!

Mine are 29 & 27 now! Good luck! Flowers

I’ve had 2 vaginal births, 1 c-section. Recovery from my last vaginal birth was so good! I’m nearly 37 weeks with number 4 and planning a homebirth. If you go for vaginal, second babies are typically a little smoother (although mine was premature and C-section). Good luck! I’d choose vsginal birth every time unless medically necessary

I booked an elective for second after an emergency first time

I was not going through a long ass labour again

Planning vaginal birth. It’s related to better health outcomes for the baby.

I've had a vaginal birth and 2 elcs. Both types were quite easy and painless (I had an epidural). I have medical reasons for needing cs but tbh I prefer them as I know my vagina won't be affected.

My plan was always to get the baby out as safely as possible with as little pain as possible. Didn’t care whether c section or vaginal. Ended up with two sections, delighted with them both, and two safely delivered children (whose delightfulness depends on the day 🫩)
