Hi, I'm 26 weeks pregnant and was on 40 mg of clexane injections due to a previous dvt during ACL reconstruction surgery. I'm now on 160 mg (X2 80mg injections a day) because I have developed a blood clot on my brain.
Has anyone else been on this dosage and what will the birth plan likely look like now.

I was on a similar dosage (sorry don't recall the exact dosage, but I was having to inject twice daily) for my whole pregnancy, and 3 months pp as well (because I have to be on anti-coags permanently, and I was on warfarin when not pregnant which I didn't want to be on when breastfeeding).

I knew up front that the hospital wouldn't allow me to have an epidural if I'd injected less than 16 hours earlier, so in my head I ruled out an epidural as a form of pain relief, which was very helpful for me to prepare mentally. Not that I'd specifically wanted an epidural, but it was useful for me to assume I wouldn't be able to have one if I needed it. That did also mean that if I needed an emergency CS it would have to be under a general anesthetic.

My labour was 26 hours long, but if was actually fine as I was in the mindset of needing to be able to deal with pain - and despite having a ventous delivery and an impressive tear, I inexplicably declined all pain relief including gas and air, because I'd convinced myself I would need to cope without anything. To be clear, I'm insane - you'll be able to have other forms of pain relief - you might even be allowed an epidural if the timings work.

Good luck!
