Any *actually* helpful pregnancy resources that aren’t overwhelming?

Hi all,

Currently pregnant with my first and finding the amount of information out there a bit… a lot 😅 I feel like every time I Google something I either end up more confused or slightly panicked.

I recently came across something called Wisemama (wisemama.net) and have actually found it quite reassuring so far. It’s more of a structured learning platform for pregnancy rather than just endless forums/articles, which I didn’t realise I needed. It sort of walks you through things in a calmer, more logical way and explains the “why” behind stuff, which I personally prefer.

I’ve only been using it here and there, but it’s made me feel a bit more grounded and less like I’m constantly second-guessing everything.

Just wondered if anyone else has tried it, or if there are other resources people found genuinely helpful during pregnancy?

What information do you need to know? When I was pg all I had was a book with a week by week diary of what's happening to you & the baby. Didn't really need to know anything else but I did have v healthy pregnancies

Honestly, the NHS pages. I looked at mumsnet for how other people were feeling but the NHS has sensible, medical information.

I liked ‘The Dummies Guide to Pregnancy’ it (for me) had the right mix of pragmatic advice and helped me set my expectations (particularly about the few days after birth).
