Anyone else newly pregnant and in their forties?

Hi I am in the very early stages of pregnancy and just turned 40. Just looking to connect with other mums to be in their 40s

i'm 20 weeks with my first and will be 40 when i give birth!

I’m 6+5 with DC3 and am 39 - baby is due 6 weeks before I turn 40 but hope I can join the thread.

I had a ruptured ovarian cyst and emergency surgery at 4 weeks at which point they could see the sac, and I have a follow up scan this week to check if the pregnancy is progressing despite all of that. But I have had absolutely crippling morning sickness, far far worse than with my other DCs (7 and 5), so I’m pretty sure I’m still pregnant.

The sickness is so bad I can barely get through the day - don’t know how I’ll be able to cope with the next 6+ weeks like this, and it’s making me question the whole pregnancy. I’m really struggling.

Oh @BurningOutt that sounds awful, you poor thing! I hope it eases off, or you can get some medication x
