Accidentally ate pink beef - toxoplasmosis risk?

Ate some slow cooked pulled beef at a cafe today and noticed it was slightly pink, but stupidly ate it anyway as assumed it would be ok due to the amount of cooking time. Now worrying about toxoplasmosis & wondered if anyone else has eaten pink beef / whether I should be worried?

Chances are if you always eat meat red you’ve had it before and you have antibodies. I live abroad and the at your 1st apt they test for antibodies against it and I had immunity but was never sick so I didn’t know I had, had it before.

I don’t think it’s possible for slow cooked pulled beef to be raw so you’re good.

Define cafe. Side of the road out of a styrofoam box, or artisan food with queues out the door.

I'll be honest, I've eaten pink beef without a second thought, I've also had shellfish and if memory serves salmon sushi on one occasion. BUT I did not eat prepacked sandwiches or food from venues that may have had it lying around for a few days.

I didn't eat pate or unpasteurised cheeses but that was about it.

My slow cooked beef is always pink. If it wasn't I'd be very disappointed.

Before I realised I was pregnant, I ate my way through a massive all you can eat Brazilian buffet with beef very very rare, and a lot of sushi on another day. Baby was fine.

If you’ve ever had cats as a pet as a child etc then the chances are you have been exposed. It’s a very common infection and as previous poster said it’s likely you would already have antibodies. Signs of infection (first time) are usually mild flu like / non specific symptoms.

If the beef was cooked enough to be pulled then it was definitely cooked through, you can’t pull or shred rare meat
