Anterior placenta distress

Hi ladies,

im nearly 28w with my first baby and an anterior placenta and I’m really struggling with movements. I haven’t gone more than 2 weeks without going to triage because of ‘reduced’ movements (maybe not actually reduced, just that I can’t feel them). Last Friday I was there and that was my second time there after 24 weeks so they brought my 28 week scan forward to Saturday and everything looked fine but I haven’t felt anything this morning so I’m worried again. I also heard about a girl who had reduced movements at 27 weeks and ended up with a c section which has worried me. This is all having a real impact on my mental health and I don’t know what to do

Keep going in they won’t mind and better safe than sorry! Assume you have has the advise to lie still and quietly for a half hour or so and see if you notice anything? It’s easy to miss movements during the day especially with an anterior placenta.

Thank you @girljulianand @Shedlife30i think I felt some movements overnight - some twitches and pulses but they are muted and muffled and I find it hard to tell or be certain that they are baby. I have my CTG later and I really hope everything is ok

Update: CTG was fine and I have felt a bit more today. Hoping it continues!
