Does the number of weeks shorten as you have more kids?!

I understand there is no definitive answer when a little one would pop out in natural birth. My last two was nearly 42 weeks, and really hoping this one would be 38 weeks. Is that even possible. Has anyone had experience of shortened no. of weeks with later kids?!!

Sadly not for me:
1: 42 weeks induced
2: 41+3 spontaneous
3 (had a lot of hope after 2 but..) 42 weeks induced
4: only boy induced at 40wks due to large size.
5: 41wks induced (would have gone longer but was 42yrs old)

The inductions got easier though.

39+4
40+2
39+4 (although midwife dates were 38+5, I know I was a week further)
All weighed within 1oz of each other, don't know if that was the deciding factor of eviction!! All spontaneous labour.

1 - 37 weeks
2 - 39+4
3 - 38 weeks
4 - 36 weeks

38+1
38+5

Would have preferred it the other way round. Second is definitely had enough pain wise and with gestational diabetes!
