HCG levels - is this normal?

Hi

Wondering if someone can help reassure me a little 🤣

I had a positive test at 9DPO, followed up with a digital clear blue at 10DPO.

Went for my blood test on Friday (still one day before missed period) and got my results this morning. HCG level is currently showing at 609.4.

is this normal? Google is my enemy because I’ve gone on a deep dive, and apparently the average at 13dpo is only between 25-140? Now I’m panicking 🤦🏻‍♀️

has anybody had high numbers before? I’m now 4w2d but the test was done 3 days ago.

IIRC, don't levels double every day? At which point your dates could just be a little out?

Otherwise, maybe it's multiples!

Generally speaking, it's good news if it's going up and not good if it stops going up, early days.

Potentially I could be wrong on dates, but I doubt it. I get major OV pains on the day so pretty confident they are correct. I don’t think they are planning to test again, they’ve basically just told me to buy pregnacare and self refer to the maternity unit.

thank you! Praying it keeps going up 🥰

I had very high HCG in all my pregnancies and also very severe HG (presumably related). I can't remember the numbers but it was always way above the stated averages. None of my (three) pregnancies were twins even though I got sent for an undignified early scan each time to check. In fact, the first time I was already in hospital because of the vomiting and the consultant made me have a second scan the following day because he didn't believe the first one and was convinced they had "missed the twin"! I'd only been with my (now) husband a few months at the time so thank the Lord he was wrong, I'm really not sure we would have survived twins. So I think some women just really kick the stuff out. My breasts always started leaking milk practically immediately as well, my last pregnancy it happened before I did the test even.

Yes my partner is trying to convince himself it’s twins, but I’m sure it’s only one.

Ive had horrendous morning sickness, strangely for only a few days and it seems to have cleared up now, but I got in the shower yesterday and my boobs are so sore I could’ve cried 🤣🤣

We have an early scan planned for the weekend which will make me 6+1 so I guess we will find out, but I’m sure it’s just one.
