Really dizzy, but not fainting - what's going on?!

Hey all, can anyone help me out more than my midwife and google have been able to?

I'm 15 weeks pregnant. Since v early days have been experiencing what I would call severe dizziness, to the point where I haven't driven because it feels too risky. I feel like I just got off the teacups/waltzers. The room is kinda spinning and I have lost my balance/walked into walls and door frames more than once. Also get this kinda tingling in my legs, like the stage before pins and needles. Screen time makes it worse so working has been difficult (will pay for writing this post 😅).

Midwife asked if I'd fainted, or feel faint, which I haven't (though I've never fainted before so really not sure what it feels like to feel faint tbh). She tested me for anaemia but nothing came back. Took extra iron whilst I was waiting on the results and saw no improvement. Blood pressure was also fine. The NHS website says it could be blood sugar, but it doesn't go away when I eat or drink.

It's almost constant unless I'm lying down. I'm seriously bored of being stationary though, and surely it's not good prep for labour to spend 9 months horizontal! Yesterday I walked pretty slowly on the treadmill for half an hour as I was desperate to move. Big mistake, genuinely could hardly stand for the rest of the day.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If yes, did you get an explanation or find any ways around it? It's not my first pregnancy but first time I've experienced anything like this.

Have you seen your GP? This sounds like vertigo or an inner ear issue which could be completely unrelated to the pregnancy

@user2848502016 feel like this will make me sound like an idiot but the midwife was so breezy about it being baby related and nothing to worry about I didn't think to go to the gp. Have just been trying to manage it at home!

This is a link to a NHS page with some exercises / movements that can help with vertigo.

Sounds like PoTS, which I’ve just read can appear for the first time in pregnancy.
