Success after RPOC and adhesions?

Having had a hysteroscopy recently to remove retained product from a missed miscarriage and also inauterine adhesions, I am hoping to hear any positive stories from people who had similar experience and went on to have a successful pregnancy please?

I had adhesions after a surgical TFMR, it took a while to work out that's why I wasn't getting pregnant again (several doctors dismissing my concerns without checking!)

I had 2 hysteroscopies, 6 weeks apart, to remove the 'moderate' adhesions and did get pregnant very shortly afterwards but it was a chemical. I then did IVF and struggled a bit with thin lining, which they thought could be related, so I had another hysteroscopy to remove some more scar tissue. My 2nd embryo transfer was successful and I'm now 33 weeks pregnant and haven't had any issues. My IVF doctor did say he wanted me to to have a transfer as soon as possible after the hysteroscopy as the scar tissue could come back again, but they were happy it shouldn't cause any issue if the pregnancy impanted

Good luck, its such shitty luck getting adhesions after going through a loss, so unfair to have another thing to deal with, but I think the prognosis going forward is generally pretty good if its dealt with effectively

You're so welcome, and thank you! I read so much about adhesions and uterine scarring and it can all feel a bit daunting but there are lots of success stories. Wishing you best of luck going forwards xx

DD had stage 4 endometriosis. Saw a surgeon in Harley Street Mr Peter Barton Smith, who used robotic surgery to remove the endo together with adhesions stuck to all of her internal organs in 2022. They were some of the worst he had seen. Our little grandaughter is two and her baby brother is due shortly. I’m also considering seeing him as over the years have had significant abdominal surgeries and now am sure from abdominal pain, I have adhesions as nothing shows up on ultrasounds or MRI’s but the pain is real.

@Orangewillow I have only just realised you need to @ people to reply!
Thank you so much for your message.
can I ask if your hysterscopy delayed your period? I am on day 35 of my cycle and concerned that my period is so late. For context I had a hysyerscopy (and 4 weeks of oestrogen) 6 weeks ago. I’m due to have the follow up hysterscopy in 6 days

I dont think it did, my doctor said it can mess around with your cycle but I think the first 2 I had didn't impact my cycle (I wasn't on oestrogen then) and the 3rd one was off the back of a failed FET and then I was on oestrogen, although this doesn't really work on me, and think my cycle went sort of to the usual schedule. With all these things it seems to be that it can make your cycle longer or shorter, both normal, but makes it hard to plan around unfortunately
