Shock at seven and à half months pregnant

I'm seven and a half months pregnant and I give English lessons. Today I walked into the classroom at the usual time- the room was dark, nobody there. Very strange. Then the pupils jumped out from where they'd been hiding- under the desks or behind a piece of furniture, and I got such a shock. I hope I'm worrying over nothing but since then I can't really feel baby move.
Could this shock really have provoked a miscarriage or detrimental impact on the baby?
Thank you in advance.

It's awful that kids behave like this. At our apparently good local high school, a girl once threatened to push a pregnant teacher over. I would be so ashamed if my son or daughter did this. Like pp say, please follow up on this, as they could do worse next time.

Glad all is well. What are the bloods looking for?

Kleihauer test. To see if any of baby's blood is mixed with my blood.

The children who played the prank were very young- 7 and 8 years old. I scolded them, but I don't think they understood.
