Obviously none of you have the answer but thank you for reading. So my period was due October 28th but I didn’t get my period and tested on the 30th. It was a faint positive. My husband couldn’t see the line so I tested again the next day and it was stronger but still faint. At that point I was 15 dpo so I didn’t get my hopes up because I felt like the line should’ve been stronger. Same night I started bleeding.

I tested again the next day and again it was a faint positive but I had come to terms with that it was probably a chemical. The bleeding got heavier and I assumed it was my period. It lasted for 5 days and had clots in it. It wasn’t heavier than normal but there was a lot of pink and brown but also very dark blood. But then after it stopped I had pink tinged or brown tinged discharge for 5 days. Just thought it was because of the chemical.

But then 7 days after the bleeding stopped my boobs were SUPER sore and I was all confused because it was before ovulation. So I took a pregnancy test and BAM, it’s positive. I took another and another and they are strong. Did a blood test and it’s positive and equivalent to week 5ish. I have another blood test booked next week and booked an early ultrasound. I am very confused and I am scared to believe in the positive tests. Shouldn’t the lines become fainter over time if I was miscarrying? I know it can take a long time for Hcg to leave the system but the lines are as dark as they can be.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Thank you for reading and I know I won’t have answers until the next blood test and ultrasound.

Just wanted to give a final update. I ended up in the hospital the day after my ultrasound because of severe pains. Was admitted for observation because of suspected ectopic pregnancy. They struggled to find it but my HcG was low but slowly increasing. They finally found the pregnancy yesterday on my left ovary and will give me treatment on Monday to terminate the pregnancy. I am absolutely gutted. I wish all of you trying to conceive out there the best of luck! xxx

Hiya, just read your post. Wanted to share some hope. In 2014 I had my first miscarriage and was told I couldnt have children. After 8 years of trying we had out first baby he's now nearly 8, my second baby is now 6. This year I lost a baby girl at 16 weeks and 1 day in march later in the year we lost another, which was suspected as I was testing positive but then started bleeding. Scan confirmed baby was gone. Now I have all the symptoms I had with my 2 living children and may again be pregnant. Its hard for what us ladies have to go through emotionally and physically. I wanted you to know I was told I couldnt have children and I have 2 living boys. I wish you all the best and pray your get your beautiful baby.
