Hi everyone,

How was your babies movements at 25 weeks pregnant?

I felt my son last evening and a little this morning but it isn't constant, I don't feel him much through the day.

My placenta isn't at the front this time like my son. I had a MMC this year so my anxiety is through the roof and I'm not prepared to keep going triage. I'm finding it hard to control my anxiety.

Thank you ❤️

I’m 24 weeks pregnant now and I feel my daughter a lot throughout the day. But in my last pregnancy my son used to fall asleep when I was moving around so I only felt him first thing in the morning and at night and rarely throughout the day. All babies are different. I would only really be concerned if baby suddenly stops moving at a time when they are usually very active. If he usually doesn’t move much during the day that’s probably normal for him.

@Strawberrycheesecake7 thank you for your reply.

Yeah he is mainly active in the morning after breakfast and then at night after dinner or when I lay down and put my son to bed. Xx

The big thing is the pattern. All babies are different, so if baby is normally very active in the morning then quiet for a few hours every day, then that’s fine. Other babies might be really active in the evenings but quiet earlier in the day. But if you notice a change, that’s when you should get help.
Neither of mine were particularly active during the day but tended to ramp up in the evenings and that was just normal for them.

They do sleep a lot. Also you can’t always feel kicks, once you’re hooked up to a machine that counts kicks you’ll see this, if I recall 17 years ago now when I was on a machine I think I felt about 1 in 10 kicks that were actually happening!
saying that, I’d always say speak to your midwife if you’re worried. She may suggest an ice cold drink and lay down not doing anything as often you don’t feel things because you’re busy with other things happening - good luck! I’ve had a few miscarriages so bit my full term pregnancies had me worrying all the time too
