I had this but without the carseat and its a great buggy , very stable , fairly easy to put up and down . Its quite chunky to put in the boot of a car but these sort of travel generally are big .

Hi, so I didn't have this, but I do have a joie car seat, the one that goes from birth to booster type (stage 0-3) and found this so much better for us personally than a pram combo (we went through multiple trying to find one that wasn't too bulky or heavy, and then could tandem when number 2 arrived and even though we no longer need a pram I still didn't find one I liked)
However came to say that the car seat that adapted to their size was such a godsend and saved us so much money (also did have a newborn car seat) to the point I bought a second for number 2 and number 3 will be using the same!
Was nice not having to worry about when or how to change up and finding a good new car seat, what brand etc, and also was surprised how quickly I didn't need the newborn inserts and how fast they grew out of the newborn seperate carseat!

We have this, used the carrycot and pushchair but didn’t get the car seat. (For a car seat we went with cybex).

I really like the versatrax. I will mention that I bought it second hand. Initially we had a cosatto from my brother because it was hardly used but I hated it. DS hated the car seat. I hated how big the cosatto was - which is most travel systems. I lasted 5 months with the cosatto - DS did sleep in the carrycot of that really well though. Then we moved onto the seat and I knew I needed to change the pushchair.

I manage to fit the versatrax in my Renault Clio. At a very tight squeeze and without the parcel shelf on it fit in the boot. My baby is now 6 months old and we use the seat now. What I really like is it collapses in one without having to take the seat unit off. Now it’s still big but it’s more compact than when the carrycot was in too.

Im now on my second child using it. It’s still in good condition. The basket underneath is huge but most travel systems are like this too.
I have no regrets. We didn’t use the carrycot with my first but we have this time and DD slept really well in it when we were out and about. Can’t say about winter or warmth for a newborn because I had two spring babies, by the winter they have been 6+ months and I got a warm winter footmuff for them.

It pushes fairly well off road. Not extreme off road but I walked around a very gravely rocky path and it managed with some shaking. DS was never a huge fan of pushchairs though, he just loved being carried so half the time I ended up pushing an empty pushchair whilst baby carrying him. This time DD has accepted the pushchair a bit more and I have been putting her in it more due to needing to help my toddler whilst out so we have got more use out of it.

Oh and another positive, a buggy board attaches really well to it without the extenders. It can clip up onto the handlebar too. So that’s what we do with our toddler on occassion now. Other times he just walks or we end up baby carrying the baby and he gets into the pushchair.

@Blue2020Ah, perfect. It does sound like it’s a good travel system then. I think I will go for it.

I had Mamas and Papas one with my first two and it was amazing in all terrains. Looked the same ish type up recently and it’s £1,000 +. Think I’ll be giving that a miss 🤣.

I have this travel system! I love how sturdy the pram is and baby seems comfortable in it, haven’t had any issues with it, only thing i’d say is it is a little big in my opinion. I don’t drive so I can’t really say what car boot it fits in. Car seat was pretty decent! No regrets about getting it

I bought the travel system for my first born and then used it again with my second child. I really liked it, the car seat was easy to use and loved that for short outings I could just attach to pram base.
The carry cot and base fit easily into my Yaris and when I moved over to the bigger pram seat, it all was easy to collapse. I did find it slightly heavy but I’m pretty small.

One thing I did find annoying was there was no foot muff with the pram and depending on the colour you choose you could (at the time) only get black or grey footmuffs separately. I know this isn’t a big deal but the footmuff felt really poor quality compared to other prams and I ended up sourcing my own which was never a perfect fit and had to be removed when collapsing the pram so was always a tad annoying.
