Hello I am now pregnant 4 months post partum! Any advice from mums who have gone through similar?? We didn’t think it could happen with our DD taking 6 years to conceive and a round of IVF. I feel guilty for her that this will take something away from her first year, and my husband is feeling abit overwhelmed with the news I think. But also I’m sort of glad that we haven’t had to have the stress of trying and ivf again. And we can get all the nappy stages done and dusted together.

Congratulations! I can imagine the shock though. How are you feeling? My first two were not quite that close together (17 months between them) and it was a handful having two in nappies. Otherwise, was mostly a lot of fun.

Thankyou! I’m feeling ok at the moment, don’t feel pregnant at all, except for sensitive nips 🤣 I was quite sick for first 12 weeks with my DD and I have a phobia of sickness so really hoping my some miracle I miss that this time!! That’s reassuring that you also found it fun, I’m hoping we will have that experience aswell. I’m fine with lack of sleep but my husband does struggle.

The sickness is miserable isn't it? I hope you fare better this time. My children have grown up now but they are still very close emotionally, which makes me very happy. My tip is to take all the help you can get 💐

Hello! Not quite as close but I have a 16m gap between my two. I won’t lie, being pregnant whilst having a baby that is yet to walk was extremely tough (she started walking 3 weeks before DS was born!) I was just exhausted and the 2nd pregnancy really took it out of me with sickness etc, however all pregnancies are different. Once DS was born, I had so much more energy despite the newborn wakings feedings etc and it honestly wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. If I could get them to nap at the same time it would be a dream (one can hope). DD is now 20m DS 4m and I’m glad I had them so close together and seeing their little bond when they’re both still so small is lovely. Congratulations and I hope you have a healthy pregnancy x
